Project Overview:
3rd grade Science (general education)
Students will first learn and investigate renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. They will discuss the importance of using renewable energy, clean energy. Students will then explore different types of renewable energy art. Renewable energy art designs are created to produce energy cleanly while also creating a beautiful piece of art. This allows renewable energy to be welcomed in many different areas. Students will break off into groups based on the type of renewable energy they want to focus on. Each group will design their own renewable energy art project and present it to the class. Students will use their creativity and understanding of renewable energy to design a piece of art. This piece of art will also have to function as a renewable energy or clean energy source.
